Summary

Civil engineer working on the numerical side of geotechnical engineering, and the author of the software he uses. Current MSc research covers offshore wind turbine foundations — floating foundation concepts, anchoring and mooring systems, and structural health monitoring for far-offshore installations — alongside the finite element methods and constitutive models that underpin them. Author of KATAI 2D, a verification-driven finite element platform for two-dimensional geotechnical analysis written in C++, and of Nerve, a zero-dependency machine learning library in ANSI C. Also writes low-level C for software rendering and audio synthesis, released as an open-source demoscene engine. Developing engineering software on contract since 2016.
